Guidelines for the Right to Use Pakistan Association of Lifestyle Medicine (PALM) Logo in Private Practice

The Pakistan Association of Lifestyle Medicine (PALM) recognizes the importance of promoting qualified professionals who align with its mission and values and encourages its qualified members to proudly display the association's logo, fostering a sense of professionalism and unity within the lifestyle medicine community. This document outlines the guidelines and criteria for members who wish to use the PALM logo in their private practice.

 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to use the PALM logo in private practice, individuals must fall into one of the following categories:

a. Executive Members

Executive members of PALM are granted the right to use the logo in their private practice.

b. Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professionals

Individuals who have obtained certifications such as IBLM (International Board of Lifestyle Medicine) or ABLM (American Board of Lifestyle Medicine) and possess a PALM certification are eligible to use the PALM logo.

c. Experienced Professionals

Members with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the field of lifestyle medicine and helped in achieving an LM associated milestone or project, in addition to their PALM certification, can also use the PALM logo.

d. SWIPE Internship or LMPC Course Graduates

Those who have completed the SWIPE (Synchronized Wellness Integrative  Program of Entrainment) internship or the Lifestyle Medicine Postgraduate Certificate (LMPC) course are eligible to use the logo.

 

Credentialing Process

Members who meet the eligibility criteria must undergo a credentialing process to officially gain the right to use the PALM logo in their private practice.

a. Unique Identification Number

Upon approval, PALM will issue a unique identification number to each eligible member. This number is required for logo usage and verification.

 b. Permission and Agreement

Members must formally request permission to use the PALM logo and agree to adhere to the association's standards and code of ethics.


 Advertising through PALM:

PALM recognizes the importance of promoting its certified professionals. Therefore, PALM will advertise the clinics of eligible members on its official website.

a. Clinic Promotion:

PALM will showcase the profiles and contact information of members using the PALM logo on its website, providing them with increased visibility.

b. Compliance Monitoring:

PALM reserves the right to periodically review the compliance of members with the guidelines and may revoke logo usage privileges in case of non-compliance.
